Legendary India women’s cricketer Jhulan Goswami will play her last match at Lord’s on September 24. She is glad to be a part of two World Cup finals in 2005 and 2017 but not winning the global trophy will be her regret.

“I was a part of two World Cup finals but couldn’t win the trophy. That remains the only regret as you prepare for a World Cup for four years. A lot of hard work goes behind and it is a dream come true if you are able to lift the trophy,” she said.

She is the only female cricket to take more than 200 wickets in one-day internationals. Jhulan has 262 wickets in 203 games and led the pace attack for two decades.

“I never thought of playing for so long. It was great experience to represent the country in international cricket. My best memory is when I got the national cap,” she added.
