India speedster Jasprit Bumrah and his wife Sanjana Ganesan are currently spending quality time with each other in England ahead of the five-match Test series against Joe Root-led side.
The couple recently visited the Wembley Stadium in London to watch the UEFA EURO 2020 semi-final clash between Italy and Spain.
Taking to her official Instagram handle, Sanjana posted a picture with Bumrah in which they can be seen enjoying the match at Wembley.
Captioning the post, the renowned sports presenter wrote, “IT V ES (Italy vs Spain).”
Notably, Italy won the semi-final against Spain in a penalty shootout (4-2 ) after the match ended at 1-1 after extra time.
As far as the Indian cricket team is concerned, Virat Kohli and his men are currently on a 20-day break from bio-bubble life following their eight-wicket defeat against New Zealand in the World Test Championship (WTC) final.
Bumrah had a forgetful outing in the WTC final at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton as he failed to take a wicket.
Analyzing Bumrah’s performance in the summit clash against the Kane Williamson-led side, former India cricketer-turned-commentator, Aakash Chopra, said, “There is no doubt Bumrah is a special bowler. Absolute phenomenal bowler but is quick in the air. He keeps his hand straight, so the ball goes absolutely straight, doesn’t swing much.”
Chopra further backed the 27-year-old pacer to perform well in the upcoming series against England, starting from August 4.
