Virat Kohli is one of the finest cricketers of his time and the right-handed batsman is leading the charts in terms of international centuries among active cricketers. Australia opener David Warner feels that it is impossible to catch the India skipper who is miles ahead of his rivals with 70 tons to his name. Sharing a pic of active cricketers’ century stats on Instagram story, Warner circled the star batsman and wrote: Fair to say we ain’t catching Virat Kohli”.
David Warner is second in the list with 43 centuries and is closely followed by Chris Gayle (42). Rohit Sharma and Ross Taylor have hit 40 hundreds each. While Virat has 43 tons in ODIs, he has amassed 27 in the longest format of the game. He has not scored even a single ton in T20Is.
Virat is going through a lean patch as far as international hundreds are concerned. His last century came in 2019.
