Arshdeep Singh took five wickets after conceding 40 runs from his two overs as India defeated New Zealand by 46 runs in the fifth T20I. Chasing 272 runs, New Zealand were dismissed for 225 in 19.4 overs. Finn Allen scored 80 runs off 38 balls, laced with 8 fours and 6 sixes. Axar Patel dismissed three batters.

Earlier, Ishan Kishan’s 103 runs took India’s score to 271/5. He hit 10 sixes and 6 boundaries in his sensational knock. Suryakumar Yadav amassed another fifty in the assignment while Hardik Pandya posted 42 runs off 17 balls. The Men in Blue won the series 4-1.
