He came, He Saw and He conquered. Ishan Kishan let his bat do all the talking in the third and final ODI against Bangladesh.

The left-handed batter was on the bench for a long time and he proved the team management wrong by smashing the fastest double hundred in one-day internationals.

He reached the landmark mark in 126 balls and hit 23 four and 9 sixes. Kishan broke Chris Gayle’s world record, who took 138 balls to score a double ton in the 50-over format.

Overall, he accumulated 210 runs off 131 balls, laced with 24 fours and 10 sixes. He also became the youngest cricketer to touch the milestone. Ishan went past India skipper Rohit Sharma.
