Ishan Kishan was magnificent for India in the ICC T20 World Cup 2026, with the southpaw scoring over 300 runs. With India winning their third global trophy in the shortest format, Ishan was hailed for his performances. He amassed 317 runs in nine matches, with the help of three fifties. He scored 77 runs off 40 balls against Pakistan and was named the Player of the Match. Ishan posted 25-ball 54 in the final against New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
He reached Patna on Tuesday and was welcomed by fans. “We won the World Cup, and it’s good for the nation. We hope to continue playing our brand of cricket and keep winning,” Ishan Kishan said.

“It feels great to perform for the country. I want to motivate the young kids and hope to see new cricketers emerging from every corner. Our campaign in the World Cup shows that you can achieve anything if you work hard,” he added.
Ishan’s grandfather, Anurag Pandey, spoke about the batter’s marriage. According to him, the family had a conversation with Ishan about his wedding, and the cricketer told them he would tie the knot next year.
“I asked Ishan Kishan, ‘Will I be alive until your marriage?’. He said, I will get married next year, and you will have to stay alive to see my baby. He will play in your lap,” Anurag Pandey told Dainik Bhaskar.
Ishan is dating Aditi Hundia and the two celebrated together after the sub-continent nation lifted the T20 World Cup trophy on March 8.
