Lance Klusener was one of the best all-rounders to grace the game of cricket. He was in sensational form during the World Cup in 1999 and played a key role in South Africa’s journey to the semi-finals.

He is currently the batting coach of Zimbabwe and recently spoke to Hindustan Times on Hardik Pandya’s comparison with Ben Stokes.

“Ben Stokes is a complete player, and Hardik is not. But the Indian all-rounder is learning all the time. In the last few years, Hardik has made a name for himself. He is not the finished product yet. Tthe sooner het gets there, I think we will be able to put him in Stokes’ bracket. He is up there but not quite at the top now,” he said.

Hardik has been rested from the ongoing three-match T20I series against South Africa. He will represent India in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia.
