Virat Kohli recently took to his official Twitter handle and posted a picture of himself along with his RCB teammates, AB de Villiers and Harshal Patel.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are currently riding high on confidence as they defeated the five-time champions Mumbai Indians in the thrilling IPL 2021 opener at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Ahead of RCB’s next game against the Sunrisers Hyderabad at Chepauk on April 14, Virat Kohli took to his official Twitter handle and posted a picture of himself along with his teammates, AB de Villiers and Harshal Patel.

Captioning the image, RCB skipper wrote, “Chilling with these dudes post practice @ABdeVilliers17 @HarshalPatel23.”

Notably, both Harshal Patel and South African legend, De Villiers, were two of the standout performers for the Bangalore-based franchise in their first match of IPL 2021.

While the 30-year-old pacer picked up a five-wicket haul against the defending champions, ‘Mr 360’ played a match-winning innings of 48 runs off 27 balls to help RCB chase down the target of 160 runs.

Talking about the right-arm pacer in the post-match conference, Virat said, “We brought Harshal in a trade from Delhi. He is relishing the responsibility and is clear with his plans. He was the difference in this game. He is going to be our death bowler. As a captain, you want players with clarity, and he has that.”

Harshal Patel has also become the first player in the history of the Indian Premier League to take a fifer against the Mumbai Indians.
