The Madhya Pradesh government has decided to give INR 1 crore to Kranti Goud for her contributions to the success of the Indian women’s team in the World Cup.
The Women in Blue defeated South Africa by 52 runs in the final on November 2.
“I want to congratulate everyone for the way the daughters of Madhya Pradesh and the daughters of the country performed in the final,” Chief Minister Mohan Yadav told reporters.
“Kranti Goud was part of the winning team, and I want to congratulate her and give her INR 1 crore from the state government. The daughter of Chattarpur will get an incentive from our side,” he added.
Kranti Goud was superb with the ball and provided an important breakthrough in the matches.
