Indian fast bowler is likely to miss the upcoming home T20I series against Sri Lanka due to a hamstring injury.

Team India’s best performer in the last T20I series against the West Indies, Suryakumar Yadav, has been ruled out of the upcoming three-match series against Sri Lanka after suffering a hairline fracture in his hand. He was injured during the third and last T20I against the Kieron Pollard-led team at the Eden Gardens. SKY is out of action for atleast three weeks.

The right-handed batter scored an unbeaten 65 off 31 balls in the last match. Deepak Chahar has also been ruled out of the series after injuring his hamstring against the Windies. The BCCI is not expected to name replacements because of the Covid-19 protocols. The squad now has 16 members 

Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant have been rested.
