Former South African all-rounder Lance Klusener has heaped massive praise on Hardik Pandya, saying the 28-year-old makes the difference when he is in full flow.
Hardik has been a revelation since making his comeback to competitive cricket. He led Gujarat Titans to their maiden IPL title in the 15th season of the tournament.
Pandya has made match-winning contributions for the Men in Blue in white-ball cricket.
Klusener, who is currently working as the batting coach for Zimbabwe, spoke to The Times Of India ahead of three one-day internationals.
“A fast-bowling all-rounder like Hardik Pandya adds glue to any team. It is good to have him back. The Indian team looks a different side when Hardik is in form,” he said.
He further said that matches against the visiting Indian team is a good opportunity for the Zimbabwe players to learn more about cricket and grow as cricketers.
The former South Africa all-rounder wants the KL Rahul-led team to bring their A game during the series.
