India were in danger of being dismissed for around 150 runs, but Hardik Pandya’s innings took the score to 168/6 in the Super 4 match against Bangladesh. When Abhishek Sharma was blazing all guns, the projected score was above the 200-run mark, but his run-out started the batting collapse, with captain Shivam Dube, Suryakumar Yadav, and Tilak Varma following each other to the dressing room.

Bangladesh were brilliant with the ball and in the fielding department, and didn’t give easy runs to the Men in Blue. However, Hardik batted sensibly and scored 38 runs off 29 balls, with the help of 4 boundaries and 1 six. Axar Patel was below the mark and failed to get going. He managed an unbeaten 10 runs off 15 balls.

Meanwhile, Abhishek was the top performer for India, amassing 75 runs off 37 balls, with the help of 6 fours and 5 boundaries.

Rishad Hossain was Bangladesh’s most successful bowler, taking two wickets. Tanzim Hasan Sakib and Mustafizur Rahman, who were economical, each took one wicket.
