India have many choices in the batting and bowling department. However, the team is still looking for a perfect all-rounder.

Rohit Sharma has won the toss and India are bowling first in the first ODI against West Indies. Deepak Hooda is making his ODI debut for the Indian team.

“I am happy to be back for the team. Obviously, a historic day in Indian cricket, playing the 1000th ODI. It’s been a long journey and we’ve had ups and downs,” said Rohit Sharma.

Kieron Pollard spoke about the importance of toss. “The toss is 50-50, no one knows what’s going to happen. It has been difficult – three days quarantine and one day practice.”
