India captain Suryakumar Yadav has won the toss and elected to bowl first in the second T20I against New Zealand in Raipur.
Toss Decision – Captain’s Comments & Reasoning
“We look to bowl first because the dew is already there. The pitch looks good, and it is the same pitch used in the ODI series. We try to improve in every game as we are not perfect. Axar and Bumarh are not playing today. Axar got hit in the previous match, while Bumrah is resting. Harshit and Kuldeep come in,” Suryakumar Yadav said.
New Zealand skipper Mitchell Santner would have bowled first as well.
“We would have bowled first, as the ground is already wet. You learn a lot when you play against a quality side. We have to be careful with our plans,” he said.
