India captain Suryakumar Yadav has won the toss and decided to bat first against the Netherlands in their last Group A match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026.

Toss Decision – Captain’s Comments & Reasoning

“We will bat first. It looks like a good surface, and hopefully we will put runs on the board and then defend the total. Our Super 8 match is over here, so we want to put our bowlers under pressure. We have two changes. Arshdeep Singh comes in for Kuldeep Yadav while Axar Patel is resting. Washington Sundar is playing,” Suryakumar Yadav said.

Netherlands skipper Scott Edwards would have batted first had he won the toss.

“We would have batted first as well. Playing in India gives you experience. We missed some chances, and it is time to finish on a high. We are looking forward to give complete performance today,” he said.
