Overview:
Richard Illingworth and Alex Wharf are the on-field umpires for the first semi-final between South Africa takes and New Zealand on Wednesday.
India and England will lock horns in the second semifinal in Mumbai on Thursday, March 5 at the Wankhede Stadium.
For the all-important clash, the ICC has appointed Chris Gaffaney and Allahuddien Paleker as the on-field umpires. Gaffaney previously officiated when the two sides met in the semifinal stage of the 2024 edition. Paleker has also been involved in the current tournament, standing in two of England’s matches and India’s fixture against the Netherlands.
Adrian Holdstock is the third umpire, while Paul Reiffel will serve as the fourth umpire. Andy Pycroft is the match referee.
