India will travel to Bangladesh for three ODIs and three T20Is in September 2026, with the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirming the assignment. Bangladesh will host the Men in Blue, who will arrive in the country on August 28. The tour was slated to start in August 2025, but was postponed for a year. As per the new dates, the ODI matches will be played on September 1, 3 and 6, followed by three T20Is on September 9, 12 and 13.
“The series between India and Bangladesh has been rescheduled,” BCB cricket operations in-charge Shahriar Nafees was quoted as saying by Cricbuzz.
Bangladesh will also compete against Pakistan, New Zealand, Australia and the West Indies.
“The dates confirm the full international season in Bangladesh, giving fans a chance to watch star players at home, while the venues will be announced in future,” the BCB said in a statement.
Pakistan will play in Bangladesh after the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. The Men in Green will tour the neighbouring country for three ODIs and two Tests.
New Zealand will land in Bangladesh in April for ODIs and T20Is. Australia have three ODIs and three T20Is lined up against Bangladesh in June.
Bangladesh’s home season will conclude with a two-Test series against the visiting West Indies side. Apart from international matches, Sri Lanka A will tour Bangladesh in May for two four-day games and three fifty-over matches, as the BCB prepares for four Tests, 12 ODIs and nine T20Is at home.
