Reetinder Singh Sodhi believes that Rohit Sharma’s batting form will play a key role in India’s match against Pakistan at the upcoming Asia Cup 2022.
During a discussion on India News Sports, Sodhi said Rohit Sharma has a poor track record against Pakistan in T20Is. He wants the Indian captain to turn things around, or they might lose if they start shakily.
“Rohit Sharma must improve his stats against Pakistan in T20Is. You can’t lose early wickets against Pakistan. We have enough firepower in the batting department,” he said.
“Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav and Rishabh Pant can score crucial runs. But they will need a platform from Rohit, KL Rahul and Virat Kohli. India can score 230 if we have a good start,” he added.
