Saba Karim feels Rishabh Pant's career could end if he continues to face criticism.

Rishabh Pant is in a middle of a lean patch in his Test career. After his third Test century against England last year, Pant has scored just one half-century in 13 innings. While all the focus was on Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane before the second Test, it has now shifted to the Indian wicket-keeper batter. Following his three-ball duck in the Johannesburg Test, he is facing flak from the former cricketers.

And add to that his constant chirping at Rassie van der Dussen has not gone down well with former South Africa pacer Morne Morkel. He wants Pant to make more noise with his bat as he feels the failure to do so might just see the 23-year-old no longer being an automatic pick in the Test Playing XI.

“For me, he is quay player but he needs to score runs instead of going after the players from behind the stumps. If feel couple of more low scores could lead to his axing from the team,” he said.
