India won the second ODI against West Indies by 44 runs to take 2-0 lead in a three-match series. With this triumph, India have won 11 bilateral ODI series against the Windies. The Men in Blue have equalled Pakistan’s world record, who have thumped Zimbabwe 11 times in the ODI format.

Earlier, Suryakumar Yadav’s fifty and KL Rahul’s 49 took India to 237 for 9 from 50 overs. Chasing 238 to win, the visitors were bowled out for 193. Prasidh Krishna took 4 wickets and conceded just 12 runs.
