IND vs PAK Asia Cup 2023

Former Pakistan captain Javed Miandad has slammed the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for refusing to play the Asia Cup 2023 in Pakistan. He stated that Pakistan don’t need India to survive, and the ICC must take action against the Men in Blue.

The apex body of Indian cricket made its stance of not playing in Pakistan stronger during the recent meeting of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC).

The reason stated by the Indian board is that they won’t get permission from the government to travel to Pakistan, owing to tension between the two countries.

“India can go to hell if they don’t want to play in Pakistan. I have always backed Pakistan and don’t spare India when such issues arise. We need to look at our interest and fight for it,” he said.

“We don’t care because we are hosting our matches. If ICC can’t control this, there is no need for the governing body. They should have similar rules for everyone. If teams don’t come, they should be debarred,” he added.
