Virat Kohli is clearly struggling to score runs across formats in international cricket. Despite spending hours in the nets, the former skipper hasn’t been able to come out of the slump.
He is stuck on 70 international centuries, with the last one coming in 2019. Former players Brad Hogg and Ravi Shastri think that the 33-year need a break from cricket to recharge his battery.
However, former selector Saba Karim is against any break for Virat. Speaking to the Khelneeti podcast, Saba said the right-handed batter doesn’t need a break. “He doesn’t need a break and will eventually come back to form in the future matches.”
Virat Kohli amassed just 8 runs off 4 balls in the first ODI against West Indies.
