Zimbabwe U19 captain Simbarashe Mudzengerere won the toss and elected to bowl first in the Super Six match against India at the ICC Men’s U19 World Cup 2026
Toss Decision – Captain’s Comments & Reasoning
“We’re going to bowl first. There might be a bit of early movement on offer, with some moisture in the surface. If we execute our plans well, wickets should come our way. We’ve made a couple of changes to the side,” said Simbarashe Mudzengerere.
“We were planning to bat first, as the sun is out and the wicket looks good. We’ve made one change, Udhav Mohan replaces Mohammad Enaan, just a tactical adjustment. We’ve had some solid practice sessions,” Ayush Mhatre said.
