Former India all-rounder Yusuf Pathan is celebrating his 41st birthday today. Sachin Tendulkar took to social media to wish the legendary cricketer.

Yusuf was a part of the teams that won the T20 World Cup in 2007 and the ICC ODI World Cup in 2011. His main contributions came in the Indian Premier League.

Yusuf was one of the top performers in Rajasthan Royals’ title win in 2008. Pathan then made a name for himself while playing for Kolkata Knight Riders, helping them in lifting the trophy twice (2012, 2014).

Meanwhile, Sachin, who played several matches with the Baroda-based player, penned down a special message.

“If Yusuf Pathan booked a stadium for his birthday party, all the bowlers would be served food in the stands. Because that’s where he liked to treat bowlers – out of the park. Happy birthday to one of the big hitters of the cricket ball! @iamyusufpathan,” he wrote.

In 57 ODIs, he scored 810 runs and took 33 wickets. He played 22 T20Is, he accumulated 236 runs and dismissed 13 batters.
