Gautam Gambhir was in no mood to spare David Warner for his six on a two-bounce delivery which had slipped out of Mohammad Hafeez's hands.

Gautam Gambhir was supporting New Zealand in the finale of the ICC T20 World Cup. However, it was Australia, who won the tournament in the end. They defeated the Kiwis by 8 wickets to lift their maiden tropy in the shortest format of the game.

Chasing 173 runs to win, David Warner and Mitchell Marsh scored fifties to close the match in Australia’s favour.

Meanwhile, Gambhir was not happy with what he saw in the last game of the tournament.

“My favourite side after India for T20 World Cup was New Zealand. If I was a New Zealand supporter, I would’ve demanded a refund seeing my team all over the place. It wasn’t a performance worthy of a final,” he wrote in Times of India.

Earlier, Gautam had slammed Warner for a hitting a two-bounce delivery by Mohammad Hafeez for a six in his team’s semi-final match against Pakistan.
