The ICC World Cup, also known as the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup, is the most significant event in cricket and one of the most watched sporting tournaments in the world. The tournament is held every four years, with the first edition taking place in 1975.
England hosted the first three editions before it was moved to other countries. Australia has been the most successful team in World Cup history, winning the tournament five times. West Indies and India are the only other teams to have won the tournament more than once.
