In two Test matches against New Zealand, he scored 276 runs at an average of 69.00, which included two fifties and a century.
The right-handed batter scored 60 runs in the first innings of the opening Test. Ajaz Patel took 14 wickets at an average of 16.07 in the two-match series against India.
In three games last month, Mitchell Starc took 14 wickets at an average of 19.64.
