Gautam Gambhir, Irfan Pathan and Harbhajan Singh from India and Shoaib Akhtar, Shahid Afridi and Misbah-ul-Haq from Pakistan are in Doha competing in this league. Out of the three teams, India Maharajas have been underwhelming in this tournament. Ahead of their game against World Giants, Shoaib Akhtar, Misbah-ul-Haq, Shahid Afridi, and Sohail Tanvir headed out for lunch, where they pulled each other’s leg.
Former speedster Shoaib Akhtar uploaded a new video on his YouTube channel, where he got brutally trolled by Shahid Afridi for his ‘brand’ remarks on Babar Azam a few weeks ago.
Afridi took a sarcastic dig at Akhtar and said he should replace their country’s finance minister since he can create brands. Further, the players talked about alternate career choices, to which the Rawalpindi express revealed that he and Misbah could have been actors.
Afridi again pulled Akhtar’s legs, which is when Misbah interrupted the former Pakistan captain and reminded them of a commercial Akhtar shot with Wasim Akram. As soon as Misbah finished speaking, Akhtar remarked, “Paiso ke liye main kuch bhi karunga bhai (I will do anything for money)”
Akhtar’s sensational remarks took the internet by shock, and even Shahid Afridi reacted animatedly to Shoaib’s remarks.
