The second game of the three-match series will be played at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on Sunday (January 29).

Prithvi Shaw was awarded the Man of the Match for scoring 23-ball 43in the ODI series opener in Colombo on Sunday. The visitors hammered the hosts by 7 wickets. Speaking after the match, Prithvi Shaw said that head coach Rahul Dravid did not say anything before he walked out to bat.

“Rahul sir didn’t say anything when I went in. I went with my instinct and was looking for boundaries. As a batsman, I try to keep the scoreboard ticking. The pitch was good in the first innings and it got better in the second innings. And I like facing fast bowlers,” Shaw said.

He was not happy with his dismissal as he wanted to carry on after taking a nasty hit on his helmet

“I was disappointed with the shot when I got out. I lost a bit of focus after I was hit on the head,” Shaw added.
