Smriti Mandhana
Edulji also said that Harmanpreet should be sacked and replaced by Smriti Mandhana.

Indian batswoman Smriti Mandhana wants to win the most number of World Cups for her team before announcing her retirement from all forms of cricket.

During her latest interview with ESPNCricinfo ahead of white-ball matches against the England women’s cricket team, Mandhana was asked to name one record she would like to own by the end of her career.

Replying to the query, the 24-year-old said, “Winning the most number of World Cups, hopefully.”

Mandhana has played two World Cup finals in her cricketing career so far – 2017 ODI World Cup, 2020 T20 World Cup. However, the Women in Blue failed to clinch the elusive title in both the summit clashes.

The Mumbai-born batter also shared some of the dressing room secrets during her chat.

On being asked who is the messiest player in the women’s squad at the moment, Mandhana first picked herself but also couldn’t resist taking Harmanpreet Kaur’s name.

“I’d say me. If I take anyone else’s name, people are going to get back at me. But I think Harman and I have a good competition at this. But both of us have gotten better. We have also spoken about keeping our rooms clean,” she added.

Earlier, Mandhana impressed everyone with her brilliant 78-run knock in the first innings of the one-off Test against England Women in Bristol.
