Shahid Afridi has urged the Rohit Sharma-led team to visit Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023. He pointed out that there have been past issues between the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), but India have played in Pakistan.

The veteran stated that the Babar Azam-led Pakistan would visit India when the Asia Cup is played in the neighboring country.

“India are not willing to travel to Pakistan. I want to welcome them with open arms. Just send them and we will give them the best treatment. In the past, there were other issues but India came to Pakistan for the bilateral matches,” he said.

“We shouldn’t spoil our relationship. If the Asia Cup is played in India, Pakistan will come for the tournament. I would also visit India to watch matches,” he added.
