Indian skipper Rohit Sharma turned around his below-par batting form with 72 off 41 balls to anchor his team to 173-8

Pakistan fast bowler Hasan Ali has bowled several match-winning spells for his national team. However, Rohit Sharma made him look ordinary.

He found life difficult in front of the opening batter, who has scored a lot of runs against him.

Sharma scored five centuries in the 2019 World Cup in England and Wales. In a high-octane clash against Pakistan at Old Trafford, the right-handed batter hammered a 113-ball knock of 140.

When asked who has been the most challenging batter to bowl to in an ICC video, Hasan Ali took Rohit Sharma’s name.

“Rohit Sharma in 2019 World Cup! I was like, ‘What he wants?’ You have completed your century, now what else he wants to achieve? He got out later but I kept thinking, ‘How to get him out’. Very difficult to get Rohit Sharma out.”

Hasan Ali was recently dropped for the Asia Cup 2022.
