Former Pakistan player Mohammad Hafeez doesn’t share a good relationship with Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan. However, he is with the leader on the issue of the country’s integrity.

Hafeez took to Twitter to clarify his bond with the greatest Pakistan captain and the current head of the country, who is facing turmoil in his political career.

The united opposition has introduced a no-confidence motion against him, and if he cannot prove his majority in the house, Imran will have to resign from his post.

“With due respect, I want to clarify to all the political leaders that we r a proud nation & can’t compromise on that. I hav my differences with PM @ImranKhanPTI, but on his stance on the integrity of Pakistan, I stand with him,” he wrote.

Imran led Pakistan to a World Cup trophy in 1992 and is among the top all-rounders in cricket history.
