S Sreesanth opined on the frustration of some players about not being backed by MS Dhoni and he was one of them. However, Sreesanth understood that MSD had to take tough decisions for the betterment of the team.
“I had my differences with MS Dhoni. But now when I look back at the instances, I realised that Mahi was right as he was thinking about the team,” he said.
Sreesanth said that the Men in Blue won the 2011 World Cup because of all the players and not one individual.
“Why do we always talk about 2-3 individuals? India won the World Cup because of everyone. Dhoni never liked the limelight and started the culture of giving the trophy to a new player,” he added.
