Virat Kohli had a memorable ICC T20 World Cup in Australia.

Virat Kohli is back to his prolific best since the Asia Cup 2022. In this ICC T20 World Cup, the former Indian skipper has scored 246 runs in five matches and is the leading run-scorer in the tournament.

The 34-year-old came close to his 72nd international hundred in India’s opener against Pakistan, where the right-handed player played his T20I career’s best innings. He scored an unbeaten 82 and won the game for the Men in Blue.

Since Virat’s return to his sublime best, several critics and experts have taken a U-turn and now talk highly of him. Meanwhile, there were a few who supported Virat in his slump, one of them being former Australia seamer Brett Lee.

Lee, who is celebrating his 46th birthday today, has been an avid Virat fan and has million-dollar suggestion for Kohli to break Sachin Tendulkar’s century record..

Lee said that given Virat maintains his fitness, he has three-four years left to play in all three formats, and he sees no reason for him to not match Sachin’s unbelievable record.

“Virat is 29 centuries away from Tendulkar’s. Looking at Kohli’s work ethic and routine, I feel he has three-four years left in him to play all three formats. So, if he averages ten centuries each year, I see no difficulty breaking Sachin’s tally. “
