Rohit Sharma played down concerns about India's poor performance ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup in Australia.

Rohit Sharma was short of words when asked to speak on Suryakumar Yadav’s innings against Hong Kong.

The right-handed batter scored 68 runs off 26 balls, and there was hardly any bowler who was spared from his brutal hitting.

His runs took the team to 192/2, and the bowlers restricted the Hong Kong team to 152/5, giving India a win of 40 runs. The Men in Blue have qualified for the Super 4 stage.

“I don’t have words to describe Siryakumar Yadav’s innings. He played some of the shots which are not even written in the cricket books. SKY has a habit of playing such knocks for the team and is in great touch now. This is good for the team ahead of upcoming games in the Asia Cup,” said Rohit.
