Pakistan star Mohammad Rizwan has backed Virat Kohli, who is going through the worst phase of his career. Rizwan said he would “pray” for the Indian legend as he believes Kohli is a hard-working player who has achieved a lot of records in his career.
“I will say that he is a champion player, but at this stage, we can pray for him because he works hard on his game,” Rizwan told Cricwick.
Kohli hasn’t scored a century in any form for more than two years. The former RCB captain has scored only 194 runs at an average of 19 in IPL 2022 so far.
Rizwan said every player goes through a bad phase, but the wicketkeeper-batter believes Kohli will regain his form soon.
‘Every player goes through a bad phase. I can only pray for Virat Kohli, and I hope he will start scoring runs again through hard work,” said Rizwan.
