Pakistan has dropped leg-spinner Usman Qadir and hard-hitting batters Asif Ali and Haider Ali for next month’s limited-overs international series against the West Indies.

Pakistan have genuine match-winners in limited-overs cricket. The performance of the team has improved in last one year with Babar Azam leading from the front. The emergence of Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Rizwan have added much needed fire power to the team. The Men in Green qualified for the semis of the ICC T20 World Cup in 2021.

In the most recent matches, Pakistan lost the Tests and a T20I to Australia, while winning the ODIs 2-1.

Hasan Ali, who has been a part of the team across formats, is struggling to get going in international cricket. The fans have lambasted the pacer for his poor performances. However, the 27-year old is working hard to make a strong comeback.

“I can only silence my critics by taking wickets. I know my performances haven’t been upto the mark but I am not finished. I am the second best bowler in the team and Babar Azam knows I am a fighter. He has backed me,” said Hasan Ali.
