Rishabh Pant was the wrecker-in-chief for Team India as the visitors managed to breach the Gabba Fortress.

Young India wicketkeeper-batsman, Rishabh Pant has become the talk of the town after his batting heroics in the four-match Test series against Australia. Pant was the wrecker-in-chief for Team India as the visitors managed to breach the Gabba Fortress and retained the Border Gavaskar Trophy on Australian soil by a margin of 2-1.

Pant was the highest run-getter for the visiting side with 274 runs in 3 Tests at an average of 68.50 and a strike rate of 69.89.

After his brilliant performance in the tour Down Under, the 23-year-old has revealed that his family now wants him to buy a new house.

The Roorkee-born batsman recently took to his official Twitter handle and asked his fans and followers to suggest a good place for his new home.

“Jabse Australia se aaya hoon gharwale peeche pade hain ki naya ghar le lo ab. Gurgaon sahi rahega? Aur koi option hai toh batao,” Rishabh wrote.

Pant’s tweet quickly grabbed the attention of former India all-rounder, Irfan Pathan, who took a cheeky dig at him by suggesting the youngster to purchase a cricket ground instead of a house.

“How about buying a cricket ground??,” Irfan responded.

On the professional front, Pant is currently gearing up for the four-match Test series against England, starting from February 5.
