Former India cricketer Sunil Gavaskar feels Virat Kohli’s sacking from ODI captaincy could prove beneficial for him. Although, the 33-year old has played a few important knocks in between, but his century drought and dismissals without troubling the scorers, have become a regular affair.
However, with only Test captaincy left, Virat could actually end his poor run in international cricket. Gavaskar is confident that the world could witness the version of Virat Kohli from two years ago, when he was dealing in tons.
“We may see the Virat from two years ago, slamming centuries after centuries,” the former India captain said on Sports Tak.
