A clinical display of Indian bowlers shattered South Africa’s hopes to keep India under the pump. Mohammed Shami took five wickets and was the best bowler in the first innings of the Test match. Apart from him. Jasprit Bumrah and Shardul Thakur took two wickets each, respectively.

South Africa’s limited-overs skipper Temba Bavuma, who scored a valuable fifty for the hosts, was mighty pleased with Shami’s bowling.

Bavuma heaped massive praise on the Indian fast bowler after his clinical bowling display.

“He’s (Mohammed Shami) a World Class bowler and we’ve seen him do this around the world, so it’s something that we expect from him. As batters, we have to front up and back our defences as best as we can, and if he bowls a good ball, Kudos to him,” he said.
