Hasan Ali, the Pakistan fast bowler, has been fined for breaking the Level 1 ICC Code of Conduct during the first T20I against Bangladesh in Dhaka.

The 27-year-old fast bowler gave Bangladesh batter Nurul Hasan a send-off after dismissing him in the first T20I between Bangladesh and Pakistan.

The Pakistan pacer breached Article 2.5 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to “using language, actions or gestures which disparage or which could provoke an aggressive reaction from a batter upon his/her dismissal during an International Match.”

He has been given one demerit point, his first offense in the last two years. On the other hand, the Bangladesh cricket team was fined 20 percent of their match fees for their slow over-rate. The home team was one over short.
