Even his hostel mate Sridharan Gopalakrishnan has confirmed the news.
“Naveen was shot dead around 10.30 am Ukrainian time today. He was standing in the queue before a grocery shop when the Russian army fired at people,” said Sridharan Gopalakrishnan, who was Naveen’s hostel mate.
Reacting to his death on Twitter, Harsha Bogle wrote – “So sad. He did nothing wrong, just found himself in the wrong place through no fault of his. So unjust.”
