Sri Lankan pacer Lasith Malinga, who is celebrating his 38th birthday today, was wished by his fans, teammates and other cricketers. However, Mumbai Indians’ all-rounder Hardik Pandya’s wish was something that stood out.

The Indian cricketer posted a split image of his son, Agastya, and Malinga, to wish the Lankan legend on his big day. “Happy birthday Mali, from one of your biggest fans,” Hardik captioned the post on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Hardik has landed in Dubai to take part in the second leg of the Indian Premier League. He is associated with five-time champions, Mumbai Indians. The right-handed batsman failed to score runs in the first phase of the league which was called off after the emergence of COVID-19 cases within the IPL teams.

The remaining matches were shifted to the UAE and now the defending champions will take on Chennai Super Kings in the first match of the second leg.
