Indian players are preparing hard for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka in Colombo. The Shikhar Dhawan-led team will take on the hosts in the ODIs, starting from 18 July followed by T20Is. While Dhawan is the skipper of the team, Bhuvneshwar Kumar will assist him in the series.
Ahead of the matches, all-rounder Hardik Pandya and Shikhar Dhawan were seen going after the bowlers in the nets. In a video shared by the BCCI, they seemed to be enjoying their batting ahead of one-day internationals.
The likes of Prithvi Shaw and Ishan Kishan were also seen in action.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Deepak Chahar, Kuldeep Yadav, and Rahul Chahar were seen bowling to the batsmen.
Team India is without Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and other leading players, who are in England for the Test series against the hosts.
India have sent the second-string side to Sri Lanka with Devdutt Padikkal, Shaw, Chetan Sakariya, and Nitish Rana getting a chance to represent the national team.
