Virat Kohli was impressed by Wriddhiman Saha’s sensational knock for Gujarat Titans against Lucknow Super Giants at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

Saha accumulated 81 off just 43 balls, smashing 10 fours and 4 sixes. He shared a 142-run stand with Shubman Gill, who remained unbeaten on 94.

The wicket-keeper batter was agressive from the start and slammed pacers and spinners.

Kohli took to Instagram to laud the 38-year-old. “What a player,” Kohli said in his Instagram story.

This was Saha’s first fifty of the Indian Premier League 2023. He also played a match-winning knock of 41 in Gujarat Titans’ win over Rajasthan Royals on Friday.

In IPL 2022, he amassed 317 runs in 11 matches.
