Team India pacer T Natarajan has joined the squad for the remaining T20Is against England in Ahmedabad. Natarajan completed his quarantine after recovering from a shoulder niggle at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.
Skipper Virat Kohli will no doubt be delighted with Natarajan’s return to squad as the bowling has taken a bit of a hammering in the ongoing series. The hosts would love the variety and yorkers on offer from T Natarajan.
He, however, hasn’t been named in Team India’s playing XI for the fourth Test. It will be interesting to see whether Natarajan will get a nod in the playing XI for the fifth game.
Nonetheless, he posted a picture on his Instagram account’s story with Washington Sundar ahead of the fourth T20I, saying “Great to be back with the Indian team.”
Last year, Natarajan had travelled with the Indian team as a net bowler for the tour Down Under against Australia. However, due to a series of injuries in the Indian dressing room, Natarajan made his debut for India in all three formats.
