McGrath further said that due to the IPL and BBL, the players have developed close bond, which has affected the players' body language on the field.

Australia are leading 2-0 in the Ashes 2021-22. However, former Aussie cricketer Glenn McGrath feels a lack of aggression from England. He pointed that it would be great if the players showed intensity instead of political correctness.

McGrath further said that due to the IPL and BBL, the players have developed close bond, which has affected the players’ body language on the field.

“With the IPL and the Big Bash, these players know one another well. You see batters and bowlers joking around. I’d like to see some emotion out in the middle,” he said.

He wants to see some sledging in the remaining Test matches.

“I’d love there to be more of a battle. Australia isn’t going to take their foot off the throttle now that Pat Cummins is coming back. James Anderson looks like he’s down on pace, and the ball’s not swinging. This could get pretty ugly very quickly,” he added.
