Lahore Qalandars' head coach and former Pakistani pacer Aqib Javed has opened up on the comparison between Virat Kohli and Babar Azam.

Legendary Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson had once said that he can win the prestigious Champions League with Zinedine Zidane and 10 pieces of wood.

Taking inspiration from his words, former Pakistan wicket-keeper batter Rashid Latif has transformed this quote into cricketing terms using Virat Kohli and Babar Azam’s names.

Kohli and Babar are two of the finest batters of the current generation. While Virat Kohli was a part of the 2011 World Cup-winning Indian team, Babar is yet to taste success in global events.

Latif feels he can win the World Cup with the two superstars of world cricket, along with 9 sticks.

“Give me Babar and Virat along with nine sticks, and I will win World Cup for you.”

Babar and Virat are record-breaking cricketers who have won several matches for their respective countries. Babar has led Pakistan to important victories in big matches, while Virat’s team reached the semi-final of the 2019 World Cup in England and Wales.
