Graeme Swann suggested that Virat Kohli should open the batting with Rohit Sharma.

Former India chief selector MSK Prasad has made a huge prediction about the U-19 World Cup-winning vice-captain Shaik Rasheed. The youngster can be India’s future No.3 batsman in red-ball and white-ball cricket.

While Cheteshwar Pujara bats at No.3 in Test cricket, Virat Kohli holds this place in one-day internationals.

Rasheed amassed 26 runs in the quarterfinal against Bangladesh, 94 runs in the semifinal against Australia, and 50 runs in the final against England. Meanwhile, Prasad said that Rasheed reminds him of the current head coach Rahul Dravid.

“He likes to score in front of the wickets and plays late, giving him ample time to score runs. So he has never looked under pressure,” said Prasad.
